Earlier this month, the Atlanta Journal Constitution & Atlanta Business Chronicle reported that Ritz Camera Centers, Inc. no longer had enough capital to continue operations & would be selling its roughly 400 retail stores, including roughly 30 stores in Georgia. Ritz Camera (which includes Wolf Camera) is the nation's #1 photo retailer.
Today, The Washington Post reported that Ritz Camera Center has announced that its CEO & fellow investors are going to keep the chain afloat. They plan to invest in the chain in order to keep it going, and thus to keep between 163 and 375 of the stores open.
Ritz Camera is known for both quality & customer service. How many of you currently use Ritz Camera (or Wolf) for your photo processing & camera equipment needs? What advice would you give Ritz in order for them to gain more business from the scrapbook community?
