Papercrafting Giveaway: Year-End Thanks & A Giveaway
Happy New Year!
I hope this post finds you enjoying the last day of 2013 and ready to take on 2014 with gusto!
As I reflect back on 2013, I am amazed at how quickly the year flew by and what a great year it was.
How about you?
Are you happy with the way 2013 panned out for you?
Are you excited about the prospects for 2014?
Taking over PaperCrafter’s Corner has been such a fun adventure and I’m so very grateful for the opportunity.
Mostly though, I’m grateful for all of you – for the passion you’ve shared around papercrafting, for the laughs you’ve provided and for the tremendous support you’ve shown us.
I’m so excited to move forward, to put into place all the fun plans we have for the site and for you, our wonderful papercrafting community – stay tuned!
And, we’d love to hear from you – what would YOU like to see here at PaperCrafter’s Corner?
What would make this an even better place to hang out?
What kinds of papercrafting information, inspiration and entertainment can we share with you?
I can’t guarantee we’ll adopt every suggestion, but we’ll sure consider every one!
And don’t forget,
if you want to know about everything we’re sharing
here at PaperCrafter’s Corner,
you can subscribe to our blog feed
(on a daily or weekly basis)
and you’ll get an email letting you know what’s happening!
Speaking of 2014, are you a New Year’s Resolution maker?
And if you are, do you find it easy to keep your resolutions?
While I have found that “resolving” to do things sometimes (o.k., often!) results in my not following through and being disappointed in myself, I do establish my “intentions” before each year starts.
Somehow I find it easier to make my intentions a reality.
I think it’s a matter of semantics (or perhaps the fact that the media always focuses so heavily on resolutions at the beginning of each year, and then on our failure to keep our resolutions shortly thereafter).
Yup, I like Intentions!
And one of my biggies is to do (and share!) more papercrafting in 2014!
Well, along those lines, if one of your resolutions or intentions (or desires, for that matter) is to read more, then we have a fun giveaway to get you started!
Ready for a scrapbooking mystery?
We’ve been provided with a hardcover copy of Gilt Trip, the newest book in the scrapbooking mysteries series by NY Times best-selling author Laura Childs, and one of our lucky papercrafting mystery lovers is going to WIN it!
What’s the book about?
From a reviewer on Amazon.com:
By Deb@Debbie’s Book Bag on October 25, 2013
From St. Paul Pioneer Press:“Brilliant…from the lively imagination of Laura Childs.”
Now, it’s important to add that Childs not only provides us with mystery and intrigue, but she tosses in recipes and scrapbooking tips!
If this sounds like your kind of book,
Before Thursday, 1/2/14, at noon (central, GMT-6),
You only have to share your thoughts on ONE of the above topics!
Then, share this giveaway
That’s it – much easier than solving a mystery!
We’ll randomly draw the winner’s name
We wish you and yours a safe and wonderful New Year’s Eve celebration and may 2014 bring you good health, prosperity, happy times with family and friends, and lots more papercrafting!
Happy New Year papercrafting friends,
