Feeling a little chilly? Is it snowing and blustery? Are you feeling overwhelmed by this slippery slope we are all on, headed toward Christmas and the New Year? Come keep warm with us this week as our Creative Squad shows you how to use flowers throughout your projects!
Up first is Corrie!
My husband made two 4ftx4ft chalkboards for our girls a few years ago. When my studio was moved into the basement, I snagged one and painted the frame white. It was cute but kind of boring. I, of course, had a HUGE supply of flowers in my stash, which I rarely used because of a strange issue I have with circles (but that is a whole different issues LOL). So I decided that they would be a great way to jazz up my chalkboard. I used hot glue to attach the flowers randomly around the frame and I love the way it looks. I have lost a couple of flowers since, but that is ok, I can easily attach new ones in the empty spaces.
On the chalkboard are flowers from just about every manufacturer who makes flowers. Prima, Petaloo, Studio Calico, Basic Grey, American Crafts, Sassafras, Martha Stewart, Bella Blvd., Jolee’s and more. Plus there are handmade ones as well.
