Hi there! Sarah here to share some cards for the upcoming holiday season. I decided to challenge myself this year and create 30 cards with my leftover supplies and I thought I could share 3 here.
So, before I share my cards, I have a confession to make. OK, maybe two. I hoard bling and I refuse to toss little bits of some of my favourite patterend paper. You can imagine the backlog that can occur in my scrap space 🙂
This first card I created around the tag. The tag is popped up using foam dots and the little branches were created using a punch and added with little clear glue dots. I always attach the base ribbon and tie a second one around it to create the bow. I have found it much easier to create a nice bow using this method.
I have lots of pretty pink floating around in my scraps. I like the idea of sending a Christmas card that was created without using the traditional colours!
Finally, the wood letters were the inspiration for this next card (well, really, it was the only word I could create from the leftovers). I love this corner of patterned paper that I saved; the red swirls are lovely and worked well for a card.
I hope that I’ve inspired you to use some of those precious scraps!
Thanks for visiting today!
