Tip for Publicizing Your Illinois Crops, Classes & Retreats

Hi there Illinois friends! I’m glad to see so many of you using our free submission form to let all of our readers in your area know about the scrapbook & paper crafting crops, classes & retreats you have planned throughout Illinois. I’d like to see even more of you taking advantage of this free service.

Just a quick hint: When submitting the website URL for more info, be sure to first click on the title of the EXACT post or page in your blog or website where the info on that particular event is located. Then copy that long URL and paste that info directly into the space on the form where we are asking for the website for more info.

By giving us the link to the exact page on your site where interested gals can find more info, you will increase the chances of our reader finding what she’s looking for and deciding to attend! If you just have our reader hit the home page of your Stampin Up demonstrator site (for example) she might decide it’s too hard to find what she’s looking for and lose interest.

To view our current list of events in your area, just scroll down to the bottom of this page. To submit an event via our free scrapbooking / stamping event listings, use our submission form here.

I thought I added the correct link, but the link doesn’t show up with a “visit” how can I update the listing. Also on your scrapbook retreats, you have the wrong website listed for scrapndream and it doesn’t do any where, it should be http://scrapndream.com somehow it goes to scrapanddream which doesn’t exist. Just wondering how you can update site.

Hi Jan – Thanks for the note! We corrected the link in our retreat listings. I checked your event submission and the reason the “visit” web link wasn’t working was that you’d left the “http://” part out of the web address. We have to have that part to ‘tell’ the form that a website link is there. I believe I got these fixed for you as well. Thanks for using our free event submission form! – Susan
