Isn’t that gorgeous?!

The trend these days seems to be the very light white or kraft background, but this deep black background is so striking with the red and the awesome pops of yellow.  The little glimpses of houndstooth here & there add sophistication and pull everything together. I love it! It makes me want to run down to my craft room and experiment with some red, yellow & deep black ….. but I don’t have anything houndstooth … hmmm… uh oh…

The Layout: I love how the arrows underneath the layout lead my eye to the right; Then the airplane with the streaming banner above the layout leads me back to the left.  And the diecut circle paper in the background leads my eye back around again!  I just want to keep looking & looking

The Ink Splatters: I was curious about those ink spatters and I liked the tip that Ilene shared on those:

To create the “inkblot” effect, pour some glimmer mist into a small container and then pour a little puddle onto the layout. While it’s still in puddle form, simply hit it with your finger to make it splatter all over. Super easy!

Pencil Toppers Project by Savannah O'Gwynn for Momenta

Isn’t that adorable?
