This week we are providing tips & techniques to inspire you to add twine to your projects. We are covering techniques from the Basic to the Bazinga! (Yes, I watched an episode of Big Bang Theory earlier. The character Sheldon just cracks me up!)
5. Write with Twine
I simply draw out my letters with pencil first, then trace over that with a glue pen or liquid adhesive, and apply to twine over the top of it. I love the look and it’s a simple and fun way to title or write on your pages.
6. Wrap Around with Twine
A simple way to add a little something extra to your pages, is by simply wrapping your Twine around a die cut. It’s the perfect touch every time.
7. Create a Starburst
I love creating fun background using different methods. Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of designs with the fun Starburst effect, with stamping and patterned papers. I thought I would make one with twine.
I really love how this turned out! 🙂 Simply use a handy ruler as your guide to draw with your glue pen and it works fabulously.
8. Crochet with Twine
This is an example of how you can bring two fabulous creative outlets together. Twine is the perfect weight to crochet with, and make fun embellishments on your pages.
Wow, all are so fabulous! Thank you, Kimberly, for the inspiration! I will probably never learn to crochet, but I will definitely give the other tips 5->8 a try, LOL!
