Sarah’s Projects ‘Snap’ with Flashback!

This week we are highlighting the new KI Memories, Flashback collection. We created a ‘recipe’ challenge for our PCC Creative Squad to see the different looks they might create with this fun, rich collection. I can’t wait to show you Sarah Webb‘s take on the challenge!

The ‘Recipe’ for the Challenge

Sarah’s Scrapbook Layout

KI Memories layout by Sarah Webb

Isn’t that banner made from the Smile washi tape adorable with the twine running through it?  I think Sarah aced this challenge!

Sarah says,

“I pulled out the elements of the recipe, and picked the pictures to suit the product. For me the colour/stamp piece was easy. Incorporating the pieces of the washi tape was a little more challenging, so they are smaller and may not be as obvious.”

“The frames are a fun new trend and I wanted to use them a different way. I like to use them for more than just framing a picture. I cut mine up and added them to the card and the layout as embellishments; it’s a great way to add visual interest and a layer without necessarily changing the focus of the project.”

I love her unique way of using the frames.  I will definitely be using that technique on my next card or scrapbook page!

Sarah’s Card

Sarah used her washi tape again here on her card to create the pink polka dot banner which she attached with a staple.  Another piece of the recipe was to use stamps and on her card she used the stamps along with some white embossing powder to create the eye catching arrow graphic.

I loved what Sarah did with the new KI Memories line FLASHBACK.  So fun, fashionable and trendy!

Next up, Angie Gutsall, will be sharing her projects using FLASHBACK and the recipe challenge.  I don’t know about you but I can’t wait!
