Papercrafting Product Releases: JBS Mercantile – Prize Alert!
As many of you know, I am into junkin’ and antiquing, always on the hunt for vintage scrapbooks, buttons, letterpress stamps, crochet doilies, clothing patches, ephemera and most anything else I can use on papercrafting projects.

I spotted at the Round Top Antique Show
and click on the images below to check them out close up and share ’em!)
Now, given that my mom used to drag me from yard sale to antique shop to junk shop when I was a kid, and I always thought it was a bit boring (after all, I could have been home playing with friends!), one might wonder how I ended up so enjoying the activity as an adult, right?
Well, I guess it’s because she shared her love of finding beauty in things of old, picking through hidden treasures just waiting to be rediscovered.
And, she showed me how, with a little bit of creativity and elbow grease, we could have very nice things, things most military families like mine could never afford to own, or at least not buy new.
Thanks Mom, I love that you shared this love of yours with me!
My attraction to all things vintage led me to another event in Austin, the Country Living event.
And, that event led me to a very special lady who shares my love of junkin’, antiquing and vintage treasures.
And, who’s made a living from her passions…
Who is she and how the heck is this related to papercrafting?
Well, the lady is Jenni Bowlin and she is masterful at finding wonderful treasures!
Best of all, she makes them available to all of us, whether through her online store that features the one-of-a-kind treasures she picks up at sales around the country, or by reproducing the treasures she finds so lots of us can enjoy adding a touch of vintage to our projects.
When I last saw Jenni (and her hubby and boys) at a local papercrafting event here in Texas, I asked her about sharing her vintage-inspired products with all of you here at PCC and she was delighted to have that opportunity…and that opportunity is now!
So, without further ado, the latest and greatest papercrafting treasures from Jenni’s company, JBS Mercantile!
