Papercrafting Gratitude: Thankful Thursdays – Week Thirteen
Papercrafting Gratitude – our weekly sharing returns!
Nope, we didn’t forget about Thankful Thursdays!
We’re once again dedicating time to thinking about, sharing and/or documenting what we’re grateful for – “practicing” being thankful by dedicating time to reflect on what we’re thankful for, and sharing it during Thankful Thursdays.
Some of us will simply lurk, some will take it a step further and leave comments about what we’re thankful for, and some will go all the way and papercraft their gratitude and share their creations.
Whichever mode you choose, we welcome you!
Please join in…and invite your friends!

Thankful sharing – here’s what I’m thankful for this week…
First, I’m thankful I located my Thankful Thursdays journal!
Nope, she wasn’t lost, just “temporarily” stored…
…but who knew where?!
I sure didn’t!
True confession time: this usually über organized papercrafter could NOT find her beloved TT journal..anywhere!
I made some major changes to my space last year when the onslaught of new products coming in was crowding my space, and the 12 Days of Holiday Giveaways filming was going on, and I needed to create more space around my work area.
Everything got moved around and I placed my beloved TT journal in a safe place…a place so safe even I couldn’t find it!
Ever done that?
I was so frustrated!
And, even more frustrated (with myself) when I found her during my latest purge – she was right where I had looked, several times!!!
Ah well, she’s back in my arms, ready to again be filled with every person, place, thing and activity I love!
Second, I’m super grateful for the opportunity to go and visit my Mom, in Germany, next month!
Was she not an adorable little girl?!
My flight’s now booked, I’m shopping for treats to bring along for Mom, and I’m thinking through what needs to be packed (where are those warm clothes again?).
And in case you haven’t “met” my Mom yet, here’s a look at the Thankful Thursdays journal page I dedicated to her in my TT journal back in week eight of this series:
Thankful for My Mom Entry – Week Eight
Third, I’m very thankful to have found Brandy, our wonderful new creative team member.
If you missed the story of how we met, check out this post:
PaperCrafter’s Corner Creative Team Announcement – October 2015
Brandy’s a talented mixed media artist and is already wowing us with her talents, like those she shared in her first project, an Apothecary Cabinet Book project for Halloween.
I can’t wait to see what she creates next – you too?!
And finally, I’m very grateful that my hubby indulges me in my taste in music.
Earlier this week we went out on a date to see UB40, a band whose music this 80’s-music-loving girl just adores!
I set up the date and didn’t tell my hubby who we were seeing until we were on our way to the venue.
Of course this only could have gone one of two ways – well or horribly!
Luckily for me, he was actually looking forward to seeing them perform (after I reminded him who they were – ha!) and he was soon enjoying it as much as I was (well, almost…I think).
We had great seats (check out this view!):
And look who else was on stage…
It’s PaperCrafter’s Corner!
Before the concert started, The Long Center (where the concert was held) rolled down a large screen above the stage.
They offered to share Tweets from the audience about the upcoming concert and, well, how could I pass up that opportunity?!
There’s no such thing as bad PR, right? Right!
O.K., that’s it for my sharing this week – now it’s your turn!
So, who and/or what are YOU thankful for?
Please share your Thankful Thursdays thoughts and/or papercrafting projects for this week – just leave a comment letting us know what you’re thankful for, and link to the project you created to honor it if you created one. (I’ll be sharing a few pages about the above topics in future posts.)
You can list as many or as few items as you want to share, and as much detail as you feel comfortable including.
there’s no wrong or right way to do this
and papercrafting is NOT required!
Thanks so much for joining in this week –
welcome to the Thankful Thursdays club!
Please join us again next Thursday as we share and tell again.
And, if you want to share how you’ll be tracking, documenting and/or papercrafting what you’re thankful for, please leave a link in the comments on this or any post – we’d love to see what you all come up with!
We’re so thankful for all of you – have a great weekend,
