Luckily, EMI scheduled her for a 2nd class on Saturday. The 2nd class will be an acrylic & chipboard album class entitled, "laugh often, wonder, and live artfully." The 2nd class is from 5:30-8:30pm and as of Tuesday morning, still has a few openings! Cost is $65 so if you want to jump on this, call EMI right away to get signed up. You can link to a full color pdf here showing details on the "laugh often, wonder and live artfully" class, including a supply list, etc.
PaperCrafter's Corner to Interview Donna Downey!
Now for the fun part! Donna has agreed to sit down with me after her classes on Saturday night and let me pepper her with a few questions! This is incredibly generous of her, considering that she will have traveled to Georgia from North Carolina, taught classes all day long, and then she & her husband must race down to the Atlanta gift show early the very next morning to work several full, tiring days there.
So, let's make the best of this opportunity, shall we? What should we ask her about? I'll be crafting some of my own questions, but I'd like some suggestions from you, too! Leave a comment on this post with a question that you'd like Donna to answer, and you could win an autographed copy of Donna's book, "Fabric Scrapbooking."
Donna's website describes the book by saying, "Even if you don't sew, Fabric Scrapbooking will show you 25 ways to combine photos and fabric to create beautiful home décor pieces, wearable art and albums. Step-by-step instructions will guide you through each project and help you create projects you'll cherish."
And it's autographed by Donna Downey herself. How cool is THAT?!
So, let us know what YOU would like to ask Donna. Of course, we won't ask her every question that you post. But by posting your questions, we'll get a feel for the kind of info YOU want to know! Won't this be FUN?!?
Please post your questions by Friday, January 8th at 12pm (noon) eastern. Contest open to ALL readers of PaperCrafter's Corner, regardless of location. I can't wait to read your questions!
Update: Contest is now closed. Congratulations to the winner, PCC reader Jo Gamma from Cumming, GA!
