Cosmo Cricket Acquired by Advantus

Cosmo Cricket

Julie Comstock announced {somewhat gleefully} today that Cosmo Cricket is being acquired by Advantus! She says that she and husband, Eric, as well as Marketing & Sales Director Lindsay Moore will still be with the brand and company going forward.

The way Julie states it, Advantus will be producing the Cosmo Cricket brand. This will allow she & the original CC team to focus on the creative side of the business they love and let Advantus focus on the operational side of things.

If the Advantus name sounds familiar to you, that is because Advantus also produces the Tim Holtz Idea-ology brand. They also were the producer of the now closed Girls Paperie.

I look forward to seeing what impact this will have on us as consumers, if any. Will we see any differences? Hopefully this will just mean that we get to see more & even better creative work from the already wonderful Cosmo Cricket brand!
