On his blog yesterday, Tim Holtz revealed a new product line designed to coordinate with his new Seasonal and Lost & Found collections (revealed a few days ago.)
According to Tim,
…these 2 new collections of salvage stickers coordinate with my favorite paper stashes lost & found and seasonal. the wire bound books of heavy-weight cardstock stickers can be sanded, inked, and distressed to your creative desires.
You can view more images of these stickers at Tim's blog here. The images above I think are from the covers, which look like a jumble of all of the contents of the sticker book all piled up together. I was very turned off by this jumbled-up look, but if you look at the actual pages of the book, the stickers actually could be quite usable. I don't think the "seasonal" book really floats my boat at all, but the "lost & found" collection could be pretty cool …. if the price is right 🙂 Here's one image from the "lost & found" book that shows the individual stickers…
One more comment & then I'll stop talking: I do have one problem with this collection too. If I used these stickers on the lower right, I can only imagine every single person who sees my layout or project asking, "Oh! Is that your great grandmother?" or "Oh, is that one of your ancestors?" That would be annoying. I think I'd rather just dig up my own photos of my own family…. or go without. But there's certainly no rule that says that you have to use ALL 300+ of the stickers in the book 🙂
