American Crafts has been hinting about a "big" announcement for a couple of weeks now …. And as Amy Tan had been hinting on her blog about some exciting news for her as well, I think a lot of avid paper crafting blog followers had already guessed about the following, which was announced finally TODAY on the American Crafts blog:
Amy Tangerine & American Crafts
We’re excited to announce our collaboration with Amy Tan on a new everyday scrapbooking line, Amy Tangerine!
Amy Tan is the enthusiastic owner and designer of a clothing line that has appeared in popular fashion magazines, department stores, and boutiques worldwide. A longtime member of the American Crafts design team, she also finds time to teach workshops for Big Picture Classes.
The Amy Tangerine line is fun and versatile, playing off Amy’s love for fashion, travel, crafts and home office. It has a huge color pallet and features a bunch of quirky elements like sewing machines, silhouettes, and airplanes.
Here are a few of the line’s NEW stitched patterned papers:
I like the new line (from what I see above), but i have to say that the name "Amy Tangerine" doesn't seem to fit a line composed of such subtle colors and tones? I look forward to seeing more of this new line to see if I can make more sense of the name 🙂
