We've been working on a few small additions that we wanted to make sure we let you know about!
Some of you have already noticed & used our new search feature. Good for you! What do you think? It's located on the upper right sidebar. We are really excited about this new feature because:
- It's ad-free
- It doesn't navigate you away from PaperCrafter's Corner
- It ONLY searches the PaperCrafter's Corner site
- It will let you sort your results by "best match" or "most recent."
This will be great for that time when you vaguely remember an article from weeks or months ago & want to be able to find it quickly! It also searches other reader comments, so if you want to see what all readers have said about Stampin Up, for example, you'll be able to see that too.
Please note that this feature only returns items from the MAIN PaperCrafter's Corner site. Unfortunately at this time, it does not cover the subsidiary sites for the individual states.
Additional Subscription / Feed Options
After a few requests, we have enabled the feeds options for our covered states! Now you can sign up to receive the updates for your state's feed. To sign up, navigate to your state's main page. Then sign up via RSS (the orange block on the upper right) and/or enter your email address on the upper right sidebar of your state's page. These options will keep you updated on any news that is posted to your state's feed.
These new feeds are in addition to the main PCC feed that alerts you to new posts on the PaperCrafter's Corner main page (which covers contests, regional & national scrapbook news, etc.) Many of you will now have two different PaperCrafter's Corner feeds — one for the main page & one for your state.
…. Actually, if you're interested in reading about local paper crafting news for all of our covered states, feel free to sign up for all of them. We certainly don't mind 🙂
…. And by the way, if you haven't signed up for the feed for our main page yet, what are you waiting for? You might be missing out on some important stuff~!
As always, keep in mind that the feeds will NOT alert you to changes made on the various listings pages — including events, consultant listings, stores listings, retreat listings, etc. You'll want to continue to check those regularly. Additions are often made to those informational listings that don't warrant a "mention" on any of our feeds.
Whew! After all of this talk of "feeds" I'm starting to feel like a farmer on farmtown or something! But thanks for sticking with us as we caught you up on the boring stuff that will help you stay abreast of the fun stuff 🙂
